CONSERVATIVE PROSTHESIS AND SURGERY

CONSERVATIVE THERAPY

Conservative dentistry is that branch of dentistry that deals with reconstructing dental elements, destroyed by trauma or carious processes, trying to "preserve" the natural structures as much as possible.

GNATOLOGY

Gnathology refers to the branch of dentistry that studies the dental contact (occlusal contact) between the upper or maxillary arch and the lower or mandibular arch in correlation with the temporomandibular joints.

PROTECTED REMOVAL OF DENTAL AMALGAM

If you have dental amalgam fillings you can recognize them because they are gray in color.
Dental amalgam consists mainly of mercury, silver, tin, copper, zinc and sometimes palladium.
These are potentially toxic substances that would be better not to have in the oral cavity.
The removal procedure requires suitable technical aids and must be accompanied by specific chelating therapies for heavy metals.

ADDITIVE DENTISTRY

Additive dentistry is a reconstructive, non-invasive, highly conservative dental technique that allows the dental anatomy to be restored where nutritional and/or functional insults have modified the dental anatomy.
Abraded, eroded or missing teeth modify the masticatory function, reducing its efficiency and increasing pathologies of the mouth - neck - head system.
It is obtained with the application of aesthetic veneers on the front teeth, inlays and/or reconstructions on the back teeth.
This technique is recommended for everyone to restore chewing functionality, brightness and beauty to the smile, without forgetting a newfound physical well-being.

COSMETIC DENTAL VENEERS

Aesthetic ceramic dental veneers (veneers in English) are custom-made to restore the shape and color of the teeth, obtaining a harmonious and bright smile. They are minimally invasive reconstructions with the thickness of a contact lens (0.2 -0.5 mm) applied to the surface of the natural tooth with minimal tooth preparation. They resolve smile imperfections by being able to vary the shape, color, length and position of the front teeth.
Before applying the veneers, the patient can temporarily understand the aesthetic effect with a temporary reconstruction mock-up to be kept for a limited period to "see" himself and show off the new smile.

OCCLUSAL REHABILITATION

Occlusal rehabilitation deals with the restoration of the dental supports between the two arches in the masticatory function.
The harmony of dental contact determines not only correct masticatory efficiency, but also correct and balanced neuro-muscular function of the masticatory muscles, neck and body posture.

MOBILE PROSTHESIS

The removable dental prosthesis is used to replace the original lost teeth. All removable dentures must also be cleaned after each meal. In our center we will explain how!

FIXED PROSTHESIS

Fixed prosthesis is possible thanks to the insertion of dental implants. There are partial or total fixed prostheses in the case of replacement, with implants, of some or all missing teeth. Come and visit us to find out which option is right for you! All removable dentures must also be cleaned after each meal. In our center we will explain how!
