Gabriella Scaduto

Dr. Gabriella Scaduto is a psychologist - psychotherapist, Specialized in Hypnotic Psychotherapy, EMDR Practitioner, registered at no. 16643 of the Lombardy Register of Psychologists (section A).

Freelance professional, her work is divided both in the clinical field (consultancy, diagnosis, psychological support and psychotherapy) and in the forensic field (partisan consultancy in causes of separations / divorces / foster care, and in cases for the assessment of biological damage of type psychic);

She was part of the GOIP (Permanent Interdepartmental Operational Group between the Department of Mental Health and the Department of Medicine of the ASST Lariana - Sant'Anna Hospital of Como Medicine Unit - Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy Service) on an experimental project called ASH- (Active Subject of Healing) “because the patient is a person” - which involved the use of neo-Ericksonian hypnosis with gastroenterological pathologies on a functional basis.

He graduated in Psychological Sciences and Techniques, address Health and Discomfort at the University of Palermo, and in 2006 the Master's Degree with honors in Criminal and Investigative Psychology, at the University of Turin.

Subsequently she won the Master of Talents, the scholarship reserved for the best Italian graduates and financed by the CRT Foundation, which allowed her to work at UNICEF - Bolivia in the field of protection of the rights of children and adolescents, specifically, in the project development of the Unit for Attention to Victims and Witnesses of Sexual Violence and Trafficking in Human Beings (UAVT) of the State Attorney General, in collaboration with the National Coordination against Trafficking and Trafficking in Minors, Sexual Violence and Gender Violence.

"This experience allowed me to become a UNICEF consultant and, combined with the psychological profession, has gradually translated into technical and professional competence in the more general field of Human Rights and Health".


From 2015 he began to collaborate on an ongoing basis with OPL - Order of Psychologists of Lombardy, through various assignments and delegations:

Referent for Human Rights, Childhood and Adolescence of the Order of Psychologists of Lombardy, specifically:


  • Project Coordinator - "Psychology for the Rights of Childhood and Adolescence" in collaboration with Unicef, Save the Children, AIAF - Italian Association of Family Lawyers "Milena Pini", Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Milan and CISMAI Italian Coordination the Services against Child Maltreatment and Abuse;

  • Representative in the UASC sub-commission - Unaccompanied foreign minors of the Consultative Commission of the Office of the Guarantor for children and adolescents of the Lombardy Region;


  • Delegate to the Lombardy Region Mental Health Table;

  • Delegate to the Integrated Observatory of the Lombard Social Health Service.


Since 2015 CNOP member of the Working Group "Emerging areas of psychology" of the National Council of the Order of Psychologists as a member.


Since 2016 member of the Scientific Committee of the States General of Women, selected by the CDA of the States General among the personalities of the world of humanistic, scientific and economic cultures.


Currently speaker and lecturer at many national and international conferences and seminars on the promotion and protection of the Rights of the Child and Adolescent and of Human Rights, with particular reference to protection systems and special protection actions / policies (abuse, mistreatment and sexual violence).
