CONSERVATIVE THERAPY

Conservative dentistry is the branch of dentistry that deals with the reconstruction of dental elements destroyed by trauma or caries processes, trying to "preserve" the natural structures as much as possible.

gnatologia
GNATOLOGY

Gnathology is the branch of dentistry that studies the dental contact (occlusal contact) between the upper or maxillary arch and the lower

or mandibular arch in relation to the temporomandibular joints. Masticatory efficiency in the absence of symptoms depends on this contact,

which in turn influences and is influenced by functional neuro-muscular and tempor omandibular joint activity.

Disharmonic relationships between the dental arches can be the cause of various algic symptoms in the cranio-cervical-mandibular area.
The functional analysis of the dental occlusion is performed by surface electromyographic analysis of the masseters, anterior temporalis

and sternocleidomastoid using wireless technology.

BTS TMJOINT

The BTS TMJOINT device is a surface electromyographic analysis instrument: it is the solution for functional analysis of the dental occlusion. It provides functional information on neuromuscular changes induced by occlusal contact through surface electrodes placed on both sides of the face and neck.

SAFE REMOVAL OF DENTAL AMALGAM

If you have amalgam fillings, you can recognise them by their grey colour.

Dental amalgam consists mainly of mercury, silver, tin, copper, zinc and sometimes palladium.

These are potentially toxic substances that should not be present in the mouth.

The procedure to remove them requires appropriate technical aids and must be accompanied by appropriate heavy metal chelation therapies.

ADDITIVE DENTISTRY
ODONTIATRIA ADDITIVA

Additive dentistry is a reconstructive, non-invasive, maximally conservative dental technique used to restore dental anatomy where dietary

and/or functional insults have altered the dental anatomy.

Deteriorated, eroded or missing teeth alter the chewing function, reduce its efficiency and increase the pathologies of the mouth-neck-head system.

This is achieved by applying aesthetic veneers to anterior teeth and inlays and/or reconstructions to posterior teeth.

This technique is recommended for everyone to restore chewing function, brightness and beauty to the smile, not to mention a newfound physical well-being.

AESTHETIC DENTAL VENEERS
FACCETT DENTALI ESTETICHE

Aesthetic ceramic veneers are custom-made to restore the shape and colour of teeth for a harmonious and radiant smile.

They are minimally invasive restorations the thickness of a contact lens (0.2-0.5mm) that are bonded to the surface of the natural tooth with minimal tooth preparation.

They correct smile imperfections by changing the shape, colour, length and position of the front teeth.

Before the veneers are applied, the patient can get a temporary impression of the aesthetic effect with a temporary mock-up reconstruction

that can be held for a limited period of time to "see" the new smile.

OCCLUSAL REHABILITATION
RIABILITAIONE OCCLUSALE

Occlusal rehabilitation is concerned with restoring dental support between the two arches in the chewing function.

Harmonious dental contact determines not only correct chewing efficiency, but also correct and balanced neuromuscular function of the chewing muscles, neck and posture.

MOVEABLE PROSTHESIS
PROTESI MOBILE

A removable prosthesis serves to replace the original lost teeth.
All removable dentures need to be cleaned after each meal. We will explain how to do this at our centre!

FIXED PROSTHESIS
PROTESI FISSA

A fixed prosthesis is made possible by the insertion of a dental implant. Partial or full fixed prosthesis are available when some or all of the missing teeth are replaced with implants.
